Chapter legacies are certainly at an advantage, but are not guaranteed a bid. Non chapter legacies are mostly viewed as a non legacy. My mom, grandmother, 2 great aunts, 2 aunts, and a few cousins were all DG's a another school. I was cut first round from them! I had a high gpa, lots of activities and awards, leadership positions, and volunteer work. I was certainly not the prettiest girl going through rush, but I am pretty and skinny and I had killer outfits! I did end up in a top house. I actually preffed two top houses, but was cut from my legacy house (DG). Don't get stressed out about something you have no control over! Just keep your options open and you will receive the perfect bid for you!
