However, some alumnae may take it a different way so just e-mail them "Hello, my name is___________ from_______. And I'd appreciate it if you could write me a rec for ________. I am very open to meeting you face to face so you know who you're writing for! Thank you!" Something like that. Give the power to the alumnae.
