KKG at ole miss raised their GPA to 3.3 because they were on academic probation. You don't need connectios to go kappa if you have a good personality and impress them during rush. But in house connections are always a good thing. KD isn't as hard GPA wise, you only need a 3.0 but you need lots of connections. In house and alumni. Also you need activities and a good resume.
