You don't have a shot with top frats (sigma nu, sigma chi, KA, or phi delt) unless you're super rich and have tons of connections or a chapter legacy. You MIGHT have a shot with good middle frats (ATO, kappa sig, pike) if you have in house connections. Rushing is all about connections. It's who you know and who you have pulling for you on the inside. Go to pre-rush fall parties and don't make an idiot of yourself. Introduce yourself to actives and if they like you, you might have a shot. Lower frats (phi psi, beta, sigma pi) are easier to get into. Again just make connections.
