Those are special circumstances. But if a PNM just decided to follow an active without knowing the active at all, that's looks like they're trying too hard. You had to be friends with the PNMs on social media to make things easier, so it wasn't random when they friend requested you. But if that wasn't the case, wouldn't it seem desperate?
