Is a matter of opinion. Some girls will get on here and bash the top tiers while others will act like being in a top tier house makes a huge difference. I personally do think there are perks. I have lots of friends in lower tier houses. They love their sororities but always make remarks like "I loved ... during rush but they cut me." I think most of the top houses are more respected on campus. They're harder to get into and it's more of an accomplishment to say "I rushed with few connections and got into a top house." Another perk is that guys in top fraternities tend to be shallow and want to socialize with girls in top houses. You'll get invited to more formals and date parties if you're in a top house rather than a bottom one IN GENERAL. This is just how it is. Boys will want to go to your date parties and formals. Good frats will invite your sorority over to pregames before your swaps because they want to hang out with good sororities. I know lots of girls in bottom houses who were sad on bid day and embarrassed to wear their letters around campus at first. I am proud to wear mine. Obviously this is just my opinion and I haven't talked to every girl in every sorority to get there's but in general I think there are many perks to being in a top house.
