Hi everyone! I recently visited ole miss and I loved it and am very interested in rushing but I have quite a few obstacles in my way. I am from New York which is obviously very different from mississippi. Because Greek life isn't really as big up here, I have little to no connections to any sororities. I also have zero connections to any ole miss alumni. Also, while I know more about Greek life than the average northeasterner, I definitely do not know as much as the average southerner. Basically all I know about Greek life I have learned from the abc family show Greek. I have around a 3.7 gpa and played sports in high school. Not sure if this info helps. With all of that being said, do y'all think I have a chance of getting a bid? Is being from New York a selling point or a weakness? Thanks
