I'll be rushing next fall and my mom is from MS and went to Ole Miss, but I am OOS. I recently heard from a rep to get recs from ladies in your hometown, whether they are Ole Miss alumnae or not, rather than alumnae you may not know. So, do I ask my mom's friends from Ole Miss to write recs, or ladies from my hometown? (considering there is not a lot of overlap between the two since I am OOS)
