Sorority life is great! And you shouldn't change your mind because you're scared of alumni having a voice during recruitment. If the alumni have a voice and they decide that you're not right for the sorority, then you don't want to be there anyways! Remember that actives have voices too!! They will stand up for you during the voting process if they want you!! The alumni are there so their sorority doesn't go downhill. They just want to get girls that they feel would be a good fit. Don't decide to not to go through rush because you're scared of alumni.
