The tiers kind of matter, but not really enough for it to make a huge difference on campus. No one is judged for their sorority because they're all good here. Top tier is typically southern girls who had a lot of connections going into rush. What they look for during rush is how many friends you have there already. Middle tier is where most of the girls who aren't from Mississippi, Texas, or some other southern state end up. Honestly, a lot of these girls would be in top houses if they knew more people. The only real difference between top and middle is connections. Bottom is a mix. A lot of girls in Theta/Adpi didn't plan on rushing and therefore had no recs or friends in sororities. They were cut automatically because of this, there's nothing wrong with them. Then, you get the girls who were blacklisted by the other houses for some reason. This is a fairly small percentage though.
