If I read an other post about "I'm scared" or "How do I make myself stand out?" or "I want to be in ______ house! Do I have a chance?" Here is something to ease your mind. 1) You have no idea what each sorority is like here. I thought I'd be in a different house but during rush my sorority ended up being my dream house and I was so happy! It's great to be excited and look at the sororities already, but until you get here and meet the girls you don't know where you want to go. :) And that's ok. 2) Stand out? That's hard to do. Don't worry about that, sweetheart! Sororities don't look at your extracurriculars and go "Yup! Her!". They have to like your personality and who you are! Your activities don't mean anything during rush. 3) Don't be scared. Rush is exciting and it will make you smile and cry. But in the end, you'll be running home!! You'll be okay if you have a 3.0+! 4) If you're class president, cheerleader, and took only APs and you're thinking you're not good enough....that's annoying. Sorry. You ARE good enough!! Do not be scared!! Confidence is key!! You cannot be SuperGirl, don't worry about your activities!! If we love you, we love you! 5) Girls with a 3.0 or above have a huge chance of getting a bid!! If you have a 3.3 or above you have a 99% chance for a bid. 6) Don't worry about tiers!! You end up where you're supposed to! Don't ask me how they do it, but they do!! 7) BE EXCITED!! :D You're good enough and will be in the house you belong in!
