Tiers don't matter. They really don't. However, some girls take them seriously (even though they don't matter). Keep in mind, tiers don't make a sorority "a joke". If all of our sororities were on different campuses, they would be top. I totally agree with @Ummm. We cannot teach you to be something you're not. If you end up in a "top house" by pretending, you'll be miserable when you could have been yourself, got a bid from a "bottom/middle" house, and have the best friends you will ever have because you found something in common with those girls.
