The original poster is way out of her league asking these questions. I understand that not everyone understands Greek life, but the answers were honest! The sorority houses at ole miss are big and old and expensive! They cost money to run, and the costs associated with sororities include maintenance, etc. sororities count on their members to keep the houses nice and functioning There are benefits to these houses, especially when they are conveniently located on campus. I love always having friends to eat with, a place to study between classes, and a house mom who helps us throughout the day. To me the costs are worth it, but in all honesty my dad does foot the bill. If it were up to me to pay, no way could I afford it.
