A few things for PNMs: 1. Do not decide on coming to ole miss based on the possibility of getting into a top tier sorority. In the end, your house doesn't really matter that much, but the experience here will. Plenty of girls in "lower tier" sororities still have a ton of fun, love their experience here, make awesome friends, Etc. 2. Making it through rush here is an accomplishment in itself. Although the sororities are "ranked", being in a sorority in general is impressive, so stop beating yourselves up. 3. I did not have an ideal rush. I got cut from all of my top houses in the third round of rush, and did not get the house that I had put as my number one pref. however, I couldn't be happier. Just all in all, please stop worrying so much about the rankings of sororities. I can tell you from experience that you will still be perfectly happy in a lower or middle tier sorority if you allow yourself to be.
