For those who think that pledging a sorority just because that sorority is strong in Dallas (or wherever) and those connections are the big influence in your career advancement or social status....it's time to put down the kool-aid! Sorority life and the bonds you make are wonderful. However the truth is after many years of career, mother, wife, pta meetings, sports and ballet spectating...etc. you will be lucky to remember the names of 50% of your pledge class. Would not have traded it for the world..but you need to be realistic. The world is much larger than Ole Miss and sorority connections.
