How would an incoming freshman going to have a college GPA before they have completed their first semester? If you are a freshman, you will not HAVE a college GPA in September. Sororities use your high school grades for fall formal rush for incoming freshmen. And they need to be good. A college GPA is used for sophomores and juniors that are participating in fall formal rush. High school grades no longer matter at that point.
