Remember that with ADPi added another round of recruitment was also added. In the past girls went from 9 houses to 6 to 3 and this year it went from 10 to 8 to 5 to 2...so lots of estimating and adjustments had to be made this year. This was probably a huge factor in the number disparity since the previous years' numbers would essentially be invalid. It'll even out in the next few years.
