So there's one chi o alumni who keeps calling me AND my mom asking how my recruitment is going. She keeps asking me who my favorite house is and asking me if I want her to go to bat for me in the house. She told my mom that she has pull as she is an in-house recruitment advisor. She told me that my name is already on a bid day bag and all I have to do is put chi o first. She actually told me that I've been on their slide show since March and every chi O knows who I am. Isn't this dirty rushing? I feel bad because there is actually another house that I like better. Should I lie and say chi O is my favorite so I don't get dropped? Rush is turning out to be not as much fun as I had hoped. It all seems so political.
