for the last 2 years, ole miss has been under a variable quota system due to the addition of axo. basically, the larger the chapter was going into recruitment, the lower the # of new girls ole miss panhellenic allowed them to take. and that could be girls transferring, getting married, graduating early or whatever. so don't read too deeply into the variance in numbers for the last 2 years. starting this fall, regular quota will be back in force. quota additions may still take place which will boost the sizes of some pledge classes, but the variance should be smaller than in the last 2 years.
