There will be an informational meeting the week of move in where everything will be discusses. Invites will be handed out during rush. You will attend all 17 houses in the first round and will receive invites back to the houses that liked you. During the week you will narrow down your choices. Individual fraternities do not send out packets or invites. Do yourself a favor and go on line. Google ole miss Greek life. Register on line for recruitment. Several guys went without bids last year because they didn't know they needed to register on line for rush. The website will walk you through what you need to do. I don't think guys need rec letters, but I do know that lots of guys get them anyway as a means of introduction. The Greek life office will know more. Contact them!
