You know, I'll let you in on a little secret: pnm's have no say so in recruitment until pref. if you are as well known as you say you are, then we already know who you are, which sorority you are favoring, who you hang out with, and which sororities you friends are favoring. We have already done our homework. We might be only nice to you because we want to bid your best friend and we don't want you to influence her into favoring another sorority. We might have no intention of giving you a bid at all, we might only want your friends. Hard to tell why we are being nice to you. We all have friends in other sororities. We have already claimed certain girls. At this point it is downright stupid to put all your eggs in one basket. Each sorority has around 400 active members. By knowing only a few girls in each, you have no idea how you would fit in each. A smarter girl would trust in the system, sit back and enjoy rush and be happy on bid day wherever she lands. Sounds like girls in various sororities want to get to know you better and be your friend. Seems like you want to throw away these gifts of friendship. Tbh I hope you don't end up in my sorority.
