You won't be cut because you are from out of state, all the sororities has girls from other states, but you will get cut because you are from the north. Southern girls from out of state have a better chance at one of the top sororities. Regardless if you are from Mississippi or out of state, without girls in the house fighting for you, you won't get a bid! There are plenty of girls from Mississippi who don't get bids. If we know them but they are grade or standards risks, we cut them! We also cut girls from Mississippi who don't have contacts inside the houses!
