Why is this an issue

I'm OOS and I can't imagine basing my college decision on something as inconsequential as sorority recruitment. I like my sorority, I've met people and made friends, but when I graduate I will be concentrating on my career. I guess if I was planning to move to a small area like Jackson, MS and needed to use my sorority involvement for some kind of social relevance maybe it would be an issue.
