Having more than one rec doesn't help you or give you an advantage at any house. And yes if you have a lot, it makes it look like you just got random ones not ones from people that actually know you. Instead you should focus on getting one really good one for each house from people that actually know you and preferably have connections at ole miss. That is more important than having 5 random recs
