First off, sororities aren't kicked off unless they seriously violate both the organizational bylaws and usually the 'law' as well. Usually seen with fraternities who do major hazing and pledges are injured. What I think you're asking is if Theta is being closed by their nationals. First, this is a very serious thing, not taken lightly. Second, a national organization usually keeps the charter with plans to return years later, they're simply 'closing' for a period of time. Third, it sometimes - not always - happens if a chapter has struggled for years to meet quota, if the costs of running the chapter start to exceed to income from members, etc. There are a lot of factors and this is something very carefully considered. I know Theta has struggled meeting quota for a long time, but they have always seemed to have a close sisterhood so I hope this is simply a rumor. But please be clear - unless they've violated the law, etc., they won't be kicked off campus. Use the correct language, it matters.
