ole miss rush is about your connections here. if you don't have numerous actives and alums in a house pushing for you then you won't get a bid into top or mid houses. Sorry it is one of the most competitive and selective universities. Occasionally there are some that get in bc they are outstanding in every way and everyone wants them but that is the exception not the rule. Don't count on knowing of a few girls in a house to get you a bid. it just dent work that way. better you know now and make an educated decision. I lot of people were upset that they went all the way thru accepted a bid bc everyone told the to try it and then drop before initiation if they didn't seem to fit in and now realize if they drop before initiation that they will be looked at badly for dropping and not get any other house if they re-rush. All houses are good and you can find friends in them all with the right attitude but if you are going to be unhappy and shallow with getting a bottom house then you shouldn't rush or go here bc reality is that the odds are stacked against you getting a top or mid house if you only have a few friends in those houses pulling for you..
