First, you need to give it more time. Less than a few weeks isn't enough time to get to know enough girls to make a smart decision. It's like saying you've met someone and they didn't become your best friend instantly, so it's not worth trying to be friends. Bonding takes time, just no shortcuts and if you thought getting a bid meant instant friendships, then I think you'd find the second time around just as hard. Second, girls who drop and then re-rush don't get into a 'better' sorority (with very rare exception) because if a house dropped you once, they almost always do again (and some houses have a once cut, always cut rule). In fact, girls who re-rush sometimes/often wind up being dropped by all sororities or have only one house left and it's a house they don't like. And last, when you drop and re-rush, it sends a message to a house that you might not fully commit. We don't like to pledge girls who are that quick to quit.
