If you were born here and consider yourself Mississippi rich and your goal in life is to join the Jackson junior league then this place is for you. Otherwise, those sweet southern girls are super catty to each other, competitive for no reason, and think they’re hot in their caked on makeup, giant tassel earrings which are out of style but are too isolated to know and fake Gucci accessories. The town is pretty but so are a lot of other college towns with better bars and shopping. The sorority houses are nice but not when you compare them to other SEC houses. Tailgating at the Grove? Hate to tell you but all SEC schools tailgate in similar style. If you want real tailgating try SMU. I don’t consider a bunch of camp chairs, decorated cookies, and sausage rolls thrown on a silver tray to be the end all of Tailgate parties. But hey if your Mississippi rich and that’s all you know then I guess it’s good. It’s like being stuck in a small town high school where they just will never know there is a bigger and better world out there. If you’re not from Mississippi don’t bother coming here.
