Yes, it is our daughter's experience and you become concerned when the student is not excited about the choice that was left. but their very last choice keeps popping up and then ends up being the only choice they get. Really?! I just don't understand (neither did my daughter) how did a legacy with a 4.0 and in a program at Ole Miss where only a small percentage actually get in . In response to Yesiamamom, Yes, I am disappointed because she was disappointed. Yes, I think it is better to drop out and hope for a COB or rush next year. My daughter didn't she felt like she had to pick something and it didn't help that her rush counselor was in the sorority that she got the only bid from. She didn't want to tell her and hurt her feelings. She signed and then I guess they revealed who they were. They should wait until Bid Day.
