You're obviously an outsider to sororities, and not too bright if you think this is an economic system. Social societies aren't businesses (duh) and must operate under different principles to be successful. When campus chapters fall behind, or if even one totally fails, the whole system suffers; existing chapters can't offer as quality a membership experience, lots of potential members are shut out completely, and it just gets worse unless fostered and allowed to reach full potential under NPC principles. Don't you worry your little non-member head about it; NPC has been doing this a long, long time successfully on hundreds of campuses. We got it.
