This is very common...girls don't want to admit that they dropped out so they will say they were cut. Sometimes it's because they thought they were "too good" for the houses that remained on their list so they don't even give those houses a shot. This is too bad because re-rushing as a sophomore is rarely successfully (does happen for a few) and you often get cut from the very same houses that cut you before. If you can't find sisters you bond with in a house of hundreds of members, then you aren't trying and it's a shame to give up before the end.
