I can’t say for sure whether or not they are lying to your face, but sometimes they really do want you and don’t really have much of a say in it! They are just a few girls in a giant chapter so connections really do help a lot. And even if they didn’t loooove you, I think being nice is still always the best option bc they want you to have a good impression of their sorority. Hope this helps
