You're delusional if you don't think that some PNMs get to pick. Have you not seen rush chairs crying on bid day? They aren't crying because they ranked a girl low and she got her second choice. They are crying because they ranked a girl high and yet she picked another house (and was high enough on their bid list too since that is also a factor). It is very, very few PNMs, but there are some. If you are one of them you probably know. If you talked to Chi O, Tri Delt, or KD's rush chairs right now, they would no doubt be stressing about multiple girls that they really really want and have rushed really hard but they are scared they are gonna go something else. The sororities don't have ALL the control. Just most of it.
