Chi-O is still a very desirable sorority, they just appeal to a very specific demographic, which is Jackson private school girls/Ole Miss Chi-O legacies. They are still the largest sorority on campus, had the best retention between fall and spring semester and always have the best or second best GPA. Nothing to be ashamed of. However, by only choosing girls from this very specific demographic they are isolated themselves. But it's all good if they're happy with it. I do think Alpha Phi is improving, however they are still struggling. They had the advantage of being one of the four sororities (Alpha Phi, ADPi, Kappa, Theta) with the largest quotas last fall and should have that same advantage this recruitment if variable quota stays in place. They were able to recruit a little over half of the quota amount and then lost 55 members (largest drop of any sorority on campus) between Fall and Spring. They also have the lowest GPA on campus. So if I was Alpha Phi I would spend less time on GR and more time working on their recruitment strategies.
