What's with the tents? Were tents important back in the day? I occasionally see discussion where 'tent talk' is mentioned. Maybe recruitment was held in tents back in the 70s or 80s? In response to the OP's question, ignore whatever rumors you hear about Ole Miss. Just come to recruitment with an open mind. There are several sororities that are more legacy based, however we do have great sororities that look at your resume, look at your GPA and will get to know you. And don't spend too much time on this site - it really is mostly Moms and although some are decent people, some are really disgusting. There's also a fair amount of trolls from other schools who just troll for the fun of stirring up crap.
