And this is why the first response (from Good Luck!) about the recruitment process being the same for everyone isn't accurate. Connected girls get more options/invitations. It's like how job applicants get in more easily at companies where they know people versus those who know no-one; I use this comparison to help girls without connections understand the process and why it's not personal when they get dropped. All one can do is make the most of the invitations they do get and be open to all houses.
