Welcome to Ole Miss - I hope you will love it! Your issue isn't that you're not a legacy, it's that you're a junior. That's not to say you can't get a bid, but it's important to realize you're up against hundreds of freshmen and sororities want members who will be there as many years as possible. Even sophomores have a hard time. I would still encourage you to rush, but to know the facts of how it is to rush when you're a junior. If you can connect well enough with enough girls in a house, then you have a shot. You likely will be released pr quickly by the top tier houses and maybe a mid-tier house -- and tiers don't matter, but I think knowing who will likely drop you fast is good to know to avoid surprises (and who knows...there's always someone who defies the odds). But there can be some houses that will be open to non-freshman. I hope you have a successful rush - be open and realistic and try to have fun!
