The thing about Alpha Phi is not that they are highly desired by PNMs going through....they are just super strategic about rush, and honestly good for them. For the top four houses they of course had their chapter legacies and a few other legacies at the head of their lists, and then they list the girls they want next, This is where Alpha phi is brilliant, they put those top girls with no connections at the very top of their lists and then get a house full of beautiful girls who were on other lists just not as high. This has given the illusion that Alpha Phi is in demand, and it also makes a lot of girls happy that they ended up with their "second choice". This strategy is why they have passed Theta, Adipi, and AOpi who are not as aggressive in rush and clearly not as strategic. This makes Alpha Phi have an amazing group of girls to showcase and it is a fantastic plan. Kudos to Alpha Phi for moving up in the ranks with two years of girls getting stuck with their second choice and rockin it.
