FYI: You DO NOT choose your house, the sorority chooses you. You can list your preferences but that doesn't necessarily mean you will be chosen by those preferences. Being a legacy does not hurt, it will give you some leverage in some of the sororities, but not all. Some sororities will pretty much ignore OOS legacies, and some will make every attempt to honor the legacies of all Sisters. Being a legacy will not hurt you with other sororities because all sororities know that not all legacies will be accept by their legacy sorority, especially OOS legacies to the more Mississippi sororities.
