From @StuJan - "I know a bit about greek life here and expansion. Word from the Greek office is that there is no where else for a new house to be built. That is word from the university. When they invited Alpha Phi and ADPi, the university knew those were the last additions for the foreseeable future." This should be interesting because without more sororities, houses will get bigger and bigger as more girls rush - exactly what Variable Quota and new chapter additions were designed to help. 400-500 girls is not a sorority, it's a small village and I think it defeats the purpose of a sorority. I can't imagine there really isn't more land. What about the university selling the old Zeta house (I think it's used for Dining Services now) to a new sorority? They could do a tear-down and put up a new house. And this is why it's too bad that the Honors College took over the old ADPi house - it could have been torn down for a new, more current house. As for more land - I think there has to be more, it just won't be on or near Sorority Row or Rebel Drive. Schools expand Greek systems all the time and sometimes it means new houses are on another part of the campus. Short of rush numbers dropping dramatically (not happening), I guess this means we'll see chapters with 500+ girls.
