Legacies pledge other houses, but my experience is you have to let those houses know how much you love them because some houses can think if you're a legacy that you will pledge that house so they will cut you. As for getting an AOII bid, are any of your sisters active in the house right now? If so, you will get a bid. All houses pay extra attention to legacies .But if we're not going to pledge you (meaning my house, but I think this applies to others too), we will release you early on in rush so you can focus on other houses. Because of how competitive rush is here legacies don't matter as much as they used to. The only way it's a "guarantee" is if you have a sister active in the chapter. My advice? Consider ALL houses. Just because your sisters were AOII's either at OM or elsewhere doesn't mean it's right for you. If it really is, that's great, but don't pledge it just because of your family. I've seen girls do that and they really regretted it later. Find the home that truly fits you, maybe that's AOII, maybe it's somewhere else.
