I would also hope that future expansion will be considered. I think many people agree that the houses are too big and given how many more girls go through rush every year, new houses will be needed to avoid getting even bigger. I think the whole point of sisterhood gets lost with such large numbers. The only way to bring new sororities on campus (if the numbers require it) is to ensure that the houses with lower numbers get up to stable, solid numbers and that would mean likely being at those numbers for the next few years before new houses colonize here. So I would see Variable Quota being kept in place for at least the next many years, especially if new chapters come to OM because they too would need VQ to get stable numbers.
