Now that I have your attention. I don't know who actually reads or writes all these posts, probably is a bunch of Moms. If someone is interested in Greek Life at Ole Miss and they find this site they would think that all the Sororities hate each other. I don't know if what I have to say will change anyone's mind but I have been at Ole Miss for a couple of years and I am active in a sorority. Fortunately there is a lot of Pan love on campus, which the endless rankings on this site would make you think wasn't possible. I have friends in AOII, DDD, DG, Kappa, KD, Phi Mu, Pi Phi (alphabetical order) our group includes some GDIs. We study together, they are the friends I call when I want someone to go find something to eat at midnight, and they are the friends I can count on. Our group also includes friends from different frats. The reason I am sharing this is I truly believe an active on campus would not be on this site posting these rankings. We actually like each other. I think at one time women needed their sorority to give them value, but now we are more focused on planning our futures which includes a career. I am not saying that our sororities aren't important to us, but they are more of a nice extracurricular activity - not the sole value of our worth. I have many friends in my sorority and thanks to my friends in the other sororities I have met even more people. If you are considering joining a sorority in the future please don't let this site influence your decision for or against a sorority or Greek Life in general. Give yourself time to find out for yourself.
