There are many differences between the sororities. I have no idea how people honestly think or claim they are "all about the same". They are not at all! I am not going to get into pointing out differences because that is when the bashing begins. That is not relevant to this thread. To the OOS girls looking at this thread, just know what you are truly getting into here. The system is rigged against you on this campus, especially after variable quota started. Even if you are pretty, great grades, good personality, come from money, and secure solid old school Ole Miss recs, that will not be enough for you to be placed where you "belong" during rush. The MS girls get what they want first, and then the OOS girls fill the other spots on the lists. MS alum moms "help" in their houses during the week of rush, but they are also there to make sure their friend's daughters, with grades way worse than yours, are on the list before you.
