To @wow - Agree that picking a school for its campus is not a good reason but I have known girls who've done that. Interestingly they are all from out of region - Illinois and Colorado are two states I know girls from who did that. The Illinois girl said - no lie - "I visited a friend and fell in love with the campus and town." Then she got into a lower tier house and was unhappy all four years. Stunned at not making top or middle tier because of no connections. The Colorado girl wanted SEC tradition, etc. and picked OM over other SEC schools because of the same reason. And I've read a few posts here citing the campus, etc. It's interesting to me that it's mostly out of region students who chose OM for this reason (at least that I know of).
