Variable Quota

Poster Message:
Y'all are making this more complicated than it was. The idea of variable quota was to even the numbers out. Each sorority still had control over who they wanted to recruit. Yes it did make the cuts for the the more popular sororitys more brutal, but everyone understood going into variable quota that would be a result. The population that was affected most is the Mississippi/Memphis/legacy private school girls who were sure they would be an XYZ but the reduced numbers forced them to consider another, more diverse option. Some of those girls have probably realized that being in a more diverse sorority has enhanced their college experience, and some are probably still unhappy they aren't with their high school friends. Once the sororities have achieved equal numbers than variable quota would no longer be necessary. So instead of bashing each other we should be hoping each sorority has a successful recruitment so variable quota can be eliminated.
