These are strong sororities on campus (ADPi continues to build and refine its identity) and nationally. The seem to have run solid recruitments and should be proud of how well they did. I know members in both and they are dynamos/ go get 'ers. ADPi's pc last fall was killer. Love that both bring passion and commitment to their chapters. I was cut by DG and wasn't willing to take a risk on a brand new sorority when I went through recruitment. Now, Adpi has a presence on grounds and good reputation so I hope PNMs will consider what both very involved houses have to offer. We don't always talk about grades and standards when evaluating if a sorority is popular, but those markers matter to your membership experience. My advice from a upper classwoman: wherever you pref (or before), see if you can politely and casually raise the issue of the chapter's standards and grades with your member. I know those things seem bo-ring, but they actually matter when you're part of an organization. Panhellenic is about to play a larger role in governing Greek life and one of their main punishments will be taking away social opportunities (parties, etc.) and they will start to penalize for chapters that do not abide by Ole Miss agreements on both standards and grades. Sorry to end on a down note. I just think PNMs need the privilege of more info about Greek Life at Ole Miss and not less.
