I hope others will share their knowledge. Heres' what happened to me: I thought I had a great rush -- invited back to max parties, high as a kite on possibilities. My options were then narrowed to two for the penultimate round. That was a shock and I was devastated by that result. I went to the penultimate parties and liked both. When big invites came, I was only invited to pref one -- but I was guaranteed a big because I only has one left. Long story short, all I needed was one to get a bid. Being invited to one pref led to my one bid. Now, of course, I shed many tears and felt way too sorry for myself at first, but I made the right decision to pursue that one house, which hadn't been a fave, and give it a shot. I realized from my friends in other houses that we all pretty much had similar experiences. The decision I had to make was did I want to be in a sorority or not. It honestly was that simple. I also do not recommend rushing a second time. Does not work out well for sophomores -- much harder to get a bid! You are still in this race, Possibility. Keep running it. Three houses are still interested in YOU!
