My friend and I are freshmen and going through rush. We were at a KDs house last night for a party. L.L. , a KD, was telling us all kind of dirt about other sororitys and how KD is top here and very sought after. I am a legacy here at KD from my sister and mom. I am not worried about myself but I am for my friend. I am expected by family to continue the sorority tradition but am so disappointed in how much you guys hate each other! My mom and sister act like it's no big deal but my friend thinks if she doesn't get in a top tier her life is over. I don't know a lot of people but have met girls from varying houses. They have all seemed nice. Even L. L. was telling me how she didn't like some of the other freshmen and laughing about them. Why would I want to be a part of that? I want to be excited about Rush but am having lots of reservations based on how horrible y'all talk about each other. Is my friends life really going to be terrible if she doesn't get a top house? Will mine really be great if I am KD?
