Cont:Kappa: Girls that were heavily looked at by top houses, but just missed it. A lot of variety but generally the really fun, carefree party girls. 1/2 preff'd top + Kappa and got Kappa, 1/2 preff'd others + Kappa and picked Kappa. A little less competitive and involved than top, but known for being well liked and great personalities. Do not draw from specific areas and have the best out of state girls that were overlooked from top houses due to lack of connections. Phi Mu: Similar to Kappa in competitive and involvement level, and for pledging girls that just missed top houses. But more like DG in that they aren't known for being the party house and generally have more of a southern bell or Miss America feel to them. Same halves that preff'd top + middle or Middle+ middle and picked Phi Mu over Kappa or bottom tier because they aren't nearly as party oriented. Known for looks, good amount of out of state, especially Alabama and Georgia. Pi Phi: The less involved, less classy, less competitive version of Kappa. Get the average girls from MS and some great, some wild out of state girls. Could easily be middle soon after some improvement in pc's the past couple of years. They have a wild streak, but are not crazy crazy.
